Wojciech Michalec
Partner, Head of Audit
Wojciech Michalec is a certified audit and compliance expert with over 20 years of international experience across high-risk industries. His career began on the oil fields of Libya, where safety, precision, and resilience were essential – principles that continue to shape his leadership and approach.
As Head of Audit at Global ESG Auditors, Wojciech leads ESG and Occupational Health & Safety audit programmes across Europe and other strategic regions, working extensively with German-speaking clients and international partners to implement best practices and standards. He brings deep expertise in ISO-aligned audits and compliance frameworks, many of which he helped pioneer and certify locally.
A key chapter in his career was his 9-year tenure as Audit Product Manager at TÜV Rheinland Poland, where he:
- Managed client portfolios across diverse sectors
- Oversaw accreditation and regulatory requirements
- Led auditor teams and coordinated audit delivery
- Maintained a strong client-facing role, ensuring quality and trust
Wojciech was instrumental in developing the ISO 45001:2018 standard in Poland as a member of the Polish Committee for Standardization (PKN), directly shaping its content – his involvement influenced the final provisions and clauses, including their practical implementation.
